Born in Vancouver, Canada, Laurel moved to New York City in the fall of 2016 to attend Parsons School of Design for Fashion Marketing and get a taste of the creativity inspired by the big apple. Laurel has discovered an interest in creative direction, production, fashion, and writing. Having first worked as a music journalist for Australian record label, Pilerats, she has also worked in fashion public relations at Margo Siegel PR, and as a fashion assistant at PeopleStyle and StyleWatch Magazine. Currently, Laurel works as a brand storyteller in the beauty industry for fresh. Since becoming certified in digital marketing from General Assembly, Laurel also works as freelance social media manager and creative producer. Residing in Brooklyn, Laurel loves noodles, puppies, and long walks to the L train.
